How It Works — Step by Step

1

Pick a Secret Number

One player picks a number from 1 to 100 and writes it down secretly. The other player will try to guess it!

1 — 100
2

Ask Yes-or-No Questions

You get 6 questions to narrow it down. Ask things like: 'Is it even?' 'Is it a double-digit number?' 'Is it less than 50?'

Is it even? ✓
3

Cross Out Numbers on the Hundreds Chart

After each answer, cross out all the numbers that are eliminated. Watch your options shrink with every smart question!

❌ Odd numbers eliminated!
4

Make Your Guess!

After 6 questions, look at what's left and make your best guess. The fewer numbers remaining, the better your chances!

🎯 42!

Mr. Aube's Tip:

This game builds number sense — kids learn about odd/even, greater than/less than, place value, and logical thinking all at once! The best part? They're having so much fun they don't even realize how much math they're doing.
